Several Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) supported by the project Organic Trade 4 Development in Eastern Europe (OT4D) have started in Albania, Serbia, and Ukraine. While we await the results of their work in the upcoming months, read more about the initiatives shaping the future of the organic sector in Eastern Europe.
The OT4D project continues its successful journey in accelerating the development of organics in Albania, Serbia, and Ukraine by promoting organic exports, partnerships with the private sector, and sustainable domestic growth. The PPPs have been set up to support organic export partnerships and to help increase the production and trading capacities of organic sector stakeholders in the target countries and thus become more competitive in the international market.
These are the PPPs according to country:
- Implementation of organic cultivation of medicinal & aromatic plants in the region of Prrenjas
- Organic herbs sector development in Rrogozhine Area
- Improving competitiveness and sustainability of medicinal and aromatic plants through advanced technologies and organic production
- Increase Albania’s export of organic olive oil through increased storage capacities and stronger supply chains
- Stronger supply chains for organic delicacies from Serbia in the DACH region
- Revitalisation of the cold store located in Boturic
- Supporting the development of climate-resilient organic raspberry production in the Brus area of Serbia
- Sustainable and climate-resilient sunflower value chain and corresponding innovative climate-resilient production systems
